YIBING WU purportedly collapsed during his Wimbledon match against Frances Tiafoe.
The Chinese tennis star is believed to have experienced breathing difficulties before being examined by medical personnel.
As per Rennae Stubbs on ESPN, Wu collapsed due to the aforementioned problems after leaving the court with a medic.
He had requested them to assess his heart rate, and the doctor stated it was a concerning 187, which appears to be a known issue.
There was a three-minute break which then extended to 15 minutes while Tiafoe waited to see if the match would resume.
Nevertheless, Wu was deemed to be alright as he returned to Court 3 to continue the first-round match.
