A murder inquiry has been initiated following the demise of a 58-year-old woman, with another woman being urgently transported to the hospital, fighting for her life. Emergency services swarmed the location at a tranquil residential street in Worcester, in the West Midlands, last night after the passing of the 58-year-old.
A second woman, aged 39, was also discovered just after 8.30 pm with critical injuries and was swiftly taken to the hospital.
Police have confirmed the arrest of a 50-year-old man on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, reassuring the public that it was an isolated incident.
Witnesses informed Worcester News that they observed an individual being attended to on the ground before an ambulance departed from the scene. A substantial number of police vehicles, ambulances, and a critical care team were in attendance.
