KENSINGTON Palace has provided an update today on Princess Kate after Prince William withdrew from an event due to a “personal matter.”
The heir had been scheduled to attend a church service and give a reading today, but the palace announced this morning that he would not be able to attend.
William, 41, was supposed to be at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for the thanksgiving service held in honour of Greece’s late King Constantine. However, he had to withdraw due to a “personal matter.”
While Kensington Palace did not elaborate further on the nature of William’s “personal matter,” it confirmed that Kate was “doing well.”
The princess is reported to be continuing her recovery from abdominal surgery at home.
