FORMER Arsenal star Kristoffer Olsson has been urgently admitted to the hospital after losing consciousness at home. He has been placed on a ventilator due to an “acute disease related to the brain.”
Olsson was with Arsenal from 2011 to 2014 and made a solitary senior appearance for the club in the League Cup.
He came on as a substitute against West Brom and scored a spot-kick as the Gunners won on penalties.
The 28-year-old midfielder has earned 47 caps for Sweden and is currently with Danish side Midtjylland.
A statement from his club said: “The player lost consciousness at his home on Tuesday 20 February and was transferred to Aarhus University Hospital, where he is hospitalised and on a ventilator.”
