Prince William pulls out of event due to ‘personal matter’

PRINCE William has withdrawn from a church service due to a ‘personal matter’ after King Charles left before the ceremony.

Queen Camilla will lead a royal party at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for the thanksgiving service held in honour of Greece’s late King Constantine.

The Prince of Wales called ahead to inform the Greek Royal family he could not attend the memorial service due to a personal matter.

The late King Constantine of Greece, who passed away in January last year, was William’s godfather.

William was scheduled to give a reading this morning, but instead, Prince Pavlos, the son of King Constantine, will carry out the honours.

Kensington Palace would not elaborate further but stated that the Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, continues to be doing well.
