Voice actor Mark Dodson has passed away at the age of 64 after experiencing a “massive heart attack” while asleep.
Mark, known for his work in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, tragically passed away while visiting Evansville, Indiana, to attend Horror Con, as confirmed by his grieving daughter Ciara. The actor peacefully passed away in his sleep before being able to attend the convention.
Ciara expressed that her father thoroughly enjoyed participating in fan conventions and remarked, “He never ceased making me proud.” She also stated that Mark’s legacy would endure through both herself and his grandchildren.
Mark, who also lent his voice to the creatures in Gremlins, had travelled to Indiana for the fan event scheduled for the upcoming weekend. The actor had checked into his hotel room, where he suffered a “massive heart attack” while sleeping, according to TMZ.
