Shock as sports star dies aged 27 during training session

MOTOCROSS star Jayden Archer has passed away at the age of 27 while attempting a perilous trick. The Australian rider rose to prominence when he became the first motocross biker to successfully execute a triple backflip in a competition.

Archer, affectionately known as “Jayo,” was trying the stunt during a training session in Melbourne when it went awry on Wednesday.

Nitro Circus, an action sports group, praised Archer as the “epitome of passion” in a tribute. It stated: “The Nitro Circus family is grieving the loss of Jayo Archer. “Jayo was the epitome of passion, hard work, and determination.

“He pushed the boundaries of what was possible on a dirt bike to heights never witnessed before. “A positive influence on those around him. And, above all else, a great human being and friend to us all.”
