A sixth body has been recovered after five members of the same family died in an horrific house fire in London on Sunday evening.
The bodies have included adults and children and have not yet been formally identified. A seventh person was taken to hospital with serious burns. The adults who lived at the home have been named locally as Aroen Kishen and wife Seema, while tributes named the youngsters as Riyan, Shanaya, and Arohi.
A blaze tore through a home on Channel Close in Hounslow at about 10.30 pm, the Metropolitan Police said.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Garth Hall said: ‘Firstly, I want to express my sincere condolences to all those affected by this terrible incident.
‘The deaths of so many people, including children, are simply heart-breaking.’ Hall said that investigation efforts have been hampered by the scene being ‘too unstable and dangerous’.
