POLICE have initiated a murder probe following the discovery of a woman’s body. Authorities were summoned to Seeleys Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, at approximately 6.20 am on Friday. A woman in her 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 39-year-old man from Beaconsfield was arrested and is currently in police custody.
Detective Inspector Nick Hind stated that he believed it to be an isolated incident and conveyed his condolences to the victim’s family and friends. He said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of this incident.”
The victim has not been named, but specialized officers from Thames Valley Police have been providing support to her family.
