Treat Williams, renowned for his roles in Everwood and Hair, has passed away following a motorcycle accident at the age of 71.
The demise of the actor was confirmed by his “devastated” agent, Barry McPherson, on Monday evening, as reported by People Magazine.
McPherson stated, “He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right, and a car cut him off. I am utterly devastated. He was an extremely pleasant individual and exceptionally talented.”
McPherson further added, “He was a highly regarded actor among his peers. Filmmakers held him in high esteem. Since the late 1970s, he had been an influential figure in Hollywood. He took great pride in his performance this year. He was genuinely content with the projects I secured for him. He maintained a well-rounded career.”
