ACTOR Gary Busey has been charged with three counts of sex crimes that took place earlier this month, cops say.
The offenses are said to have taken place during a Monster Mania convention at a hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, according to the authorities.
Police in Cherry Hill confirmed Saturday that the person they are charging is the 78-year-old actor, who lives in Malibu, California.
According to the release, he was charged Friday with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, a single count of fourth-degree attempted sexual assault and a single count of harassment.
Cherry Hill Police Lt. Robert Scheunemann said “it was about contact. It was about touching,” according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The officer said that authorities received multiple complaints involving at least two victims.
Few details about the alleged crime were given, other than saying it took place at the Doubletree Hotel on Route 70 in the township during the convention held between August 12-14.
