MANCHESTER UNITED legend Mark Pearson has passed away at the age of 83.
The forward emerged from the club’s youth ranks and played a pivotal role in the team’s reconstruction following the tragic Munich air disaster.
Manchester United issued a heartfelt tribute via Twitter, stating: “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of former Red Mark Pearson, who proudly represented United during the late 1950s and 1960s.
“He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those associated with the club.”
Their message continued: “His contribution to a unique chapter in Manchester United’s history is unforgettable, and the entire club conveys sincere sympathies to Mark’s family during this somber period.”
