The Royal Family is preparing to gather to commemorate King Charles’ first official birthday parade as monarch at Trooping the Colour 2023. This significant milestone will witness King Charles rising to the challenge and riding on horseback before making an iconic appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. However, two members of the royal family who are not expected to attend the grand event are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Nevertheless, despite the fact that fans may not catch a glimpse of them this weekend, the couple has addressed their supporters to provide an update on one of their projects.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received unfortunate news as they confirmed, in a joint statement with Spotify, that their partnership has come to an end. Consequently, Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, which premiered in August of last year, will also not be returning for a second season.
The Sussexes and the streaming giant announced, “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we created together.”
The high-profile agreement between Spotify and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was reportedly valued at around $25 million when it was announced back in 2020. Archetypes is arguably the most significant undertaking resulting from the deal, and its first season comprised twelve episodes that aired from August to November 2022.
Guests on Archetypes ranged from DJ and businesswoman Paris Hilton to tennis star Serena Williams, as Meghan led insightful discussions about the terms and stereotypes that are frequently used to hinder women’s progress.
