Premier League football star out for season after horror injury

RHYS NORRINGTON-DAVIES’ injury misfortune has struck again after he was ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring issue. The Sheffield United defender, aged 24, hobbled off in the first half of the Premier League victory at Luton on 10th February.

Norrington-Davies is set for another prolonged spell on the sidelines after only recently returning from 14 months of adversity following an injury to his other hamstring.

Blades manager Chris Wilder remarked: “We have lost Rhys for the season. You saw what happened to him last week. These are things that are really hurting us.” His most recent setback occurred during an unusual collision with the advertising board after sliding off the pitch.

The 13-cap defender was visibly distraught as he left the Kenilworth Road pitch. And supporters were left “gutted” by their star’s unfortunate injury luck.
