Naked Scotland fan led away by cops as scenes in London get rowdy ahead of Euros match

A naked Scottish football fan was dragged away by police after thousands of supporters descended on London for today’s match against England.

Several Met officers surrounded the man in Hyde Park in front of a crowd of rowdy onlookers, many of whom were donning kilts.

The Tartan Army filled the streets of the capital today, sinking plenty of beers as they prepared for tomorrow’s Euro 2020 showdown at at Wembley Stadium.

Supporters were pictured sitting taking a dip in the William Shakespeare fountain at Leicester Square while others appeared to fill it with washing up liquid to make the water bubbly.

Today the Metropolitan Police issued a 48 hour dispersal order in central London, giving officers more powers to remove drunken troublemakers.

An estimated 22,000 Scots were expected to come to the capital ahead of tomorrow’s game at 8pm, but only 2,600 of them managed to get tickets for Wembley.

The traditional party spot for Scotland fans is Trafalgar Square, but that has been designated as a fan zone for local key workers with tickets.
