Man stabbed to death and another injured in North London attack

A man has been arrested over a fatal stabbing in North London last night. 

The victim, in his 40s, was found with knife wounds in Neasden after emergency services were called at around 9.30pm. 

Despite the efforts of paramedics, who arrived by road and in an air ambulance, the man died at the scene. 

A second man found nearby with non life-threatening injuries was arrested in connection with the incident.

Police are still attempting to find the dead man’s next of kin, while homicide detectives have been brought in. 

A crime scene is in place and enquiries are continuing.

A Section 60 stop and search order has been authorised until 1.30pm today for the ward areas of Barn Hill, Welsh Harp, Tokyngton, Preston and Stonebridge.
