Kate Middleton is eager to resume royal duties, but a medical expert has cautioned that she should take it easy as her road to recovery could extend up to nine months.
The Princess of Wales recently returned home after a two-week stay at the London Clinic in Marylebone, where she underwent successful abdominal surgery. Kate is currently recuperating at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor alongside her devoted husband, Prince William.
Despite being well enough to sleep in her own bed, it seems it might be a while before the 42-year-old fully returns to normalcy. A statement from Kensington Palace, released upon her return, stated: “Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
However, it appears it might take even longer for Princess Kate to regain full health. In an interview with Hello Magazine, abdominal surgery expert Shashank Gurjar explained that Kate’s health issues are more complicated than they may seem.
