Kate Garraway was moved to tears while watching a performance by Sam Ryder on Friday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.
The 56-year-old presenter became emotional when Sam performed an acoustic rendition of his new single, “Fought & Lost.”
The unexpected tears surprised Garraway herself, and she exclaimed, “Oh my god. That has completely overwhelmed me.”
She further expressed, “The lyrics and that voice. Sam, you’ve completely got to me.”
Sam’s latest track, which was written for the eleventh episode of the third season of the comedy series Ted Lasso, also features the legendary Queen guitarist Brian May.
Recently, the singer won the Ultimate UK Eurovision Song competition, following a nationwide vote to determine the nation’s all-time favorite entry.
