Former Premier League striker M’Baye Niang has been hurried to hospital following a car accident.
The Senegal international, who spent the first half of 2017 on loan to Watford from AC Milan, made 16 top-flight appearances, scoring in the Hornets’ victories over Burnley and West Brom.
France-born Niang, now 29, recently joined Italian Serie A club Empoli from Turkish side Adana Demirspor. However, he was rushed to hospital on Tuesday morning after his Mercedes SUV collided with several parked cars in Empoli, near Florence.
