EastEnders has been withdrawn from screens not once but twice this week amid schedule changes on BBC One.
The soap, typically broadcast from Monday to Thursday, has been taken off air on Tuesday (27th February) and Wednesday (28th February) this week to accommodate the FA Cup.
Rather than our usual visit to Albert Square tonight, viewers will enjoy an intense match between Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United, while tomorrow will feature Nottingham Forest and Manchester United on the pitch.
Fortunately, EastEnders enthusiasts won’t miss any episodes, as the show will now broadcast a double episode on Friday, 1st March. The first episode will start at 7:30 pm as usual, with a second episode following at 8 pm.
