Two soap actors have made worlds collide and are now dating in real life, it has been claimed.
According to The Sun, Emmerdale ‘s Amy Walsh and EastEnders’ Toby-Alexander Smith are “dating” and made their first public appearance last night.
Yesterday the pair attended a red carpet event together at A Christmas Carol in London and were photographed looking very cosy with each other as they leaned in close for the shot.
In one photo, the pair could be seen standing side-by-side dressed in their warm winter coats as they beamed so much they showed their pearly whites while staring into the camera lens.
According to sources, Toby, who plays creepy killer Gray, has been seeing Amy after meeting through friends.
At last night’s show, onlookers acclaimed how the pair “couldn’t keep hands off one another,” wrote The Sun.
An insider told the publication: “It’s early days but they really like each other.
“They’re both very busy with packed work schedules at opposite ends of the country, but they try to spend as much time together as they can.”
Both stars have recently played very dark and separate tragedies in each of their soaps.
Amy, who plays the very troubled Tracey Metcalfe in Emmerdale, has been busy acting out her character’s story which saw her go through an attempted stabbing.
Tracey also found out she’s pregnant with boyfriend Nate’s baby and comforting half-sister Vanessa after finding out she’s suffering from cancer again.
Toby has also had his fair share of storylines on EastEnders recently as Gray as he caused havoc on Albert Square.
The lawyer turned into a killer as he left his wife Chantelle, who he had been domestically abusing both physically and violently, for dead when she fell onto something sharp in their kitchen.
He left the mother of his two children for dead on the floor as she lay awake still conscious quietly begging for him to come back.
Gray left, walked around the square, even went to the pub the Queen Vic before coming home to find his wife dead.
