Driver and 18-year-old passenger fighting for life after horror motorway crash

Following a horrifying collision on a motorway near Falkirk, a driver and a passenger are currently battling life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place on the northbound stretch of the M9, specifically at the merge with the M876 between Junction 7 and Junction 8.

Emergency response teams swiftly arrived at the scene, mobilizing at approximately 9:10 PM last night. The distressing crash involved a white Honda Civic.

Two individuals were urgently transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow to receive medical attention for their severe injuries. The driver, a 20-year-old man, and the passenger, an 18-year-old man, both remain under hospital care.

Their conditions have been described as critical but stable. Police Scotland have confirmed that investigations into the incident are presently ongoing.
