Police have swiftly responded to a London hospital after a ‘violent incident’ involving a man caused chaos in its A&E department.
It is understood that officers attended Kingston Hospital in southwest London following a confrontation on Monday.
An incident involving a prisoner unfolded, prompting a significant police presence at the NHS premises on Galsworthy Road.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers attended the hospital to transport a man, who had allegedly been acting aggressively, to court.’
The prisoner had been in custody throughout the weekend and later became involved in an argument, as reported by UKNIP. During the incident, patients were advised to remain in secure areas while the police were present on-site.
