Woman who sent sick child abuse images to ‘please’ paedo walks free from court

A judge said Lorna Henderson, 23, from South Shields, was “naive” and had “low self esteem” when she started “feeding Konrad Klecha’s needs and requirements”

A woman who sent sick child abuse images to a paedophile to ‘please him’ has walked free from court.

Lorna Henderson thought she was in a relationship with Konrad Klecha when she engaged in online sex sessions with him over WhatsApp.

A court heard their sexual conversations and graphic picture exchanges took a “sinister turn” when Klecha asked for child abuse images, which Henderson sent him, reports Chronicle Live.

The 23-year-old pervert also tried to convince her that they could engineer a situation where they could engage in sexual act in the presence of a child, which she refused.

Henderson, also 23, of Whitehall Street, South Shields, admitted possessing and distributing indecent images of children.

Judge Stephen Earl sentenced Henderson to two years imprisonment, suspended for two years, with rehabilitation requirements and said she must sign the sex offenders register for a decade.

She must also abide by a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years.

Judge Earl said society feels “horror” at such offences and that it is a “rare event” for a woman to be involved in child sexual abuse.

But the judge said Henderson was “naive” and added: “She has no paedophilic interest herself. What she has is low self esteem, realistically, and has bent to the will of a person using her for their purposes of his own interest, sexual interest at that.”

The judge told Henderson: “What you were trying to do was please him.

“A doctor’s report indicates the level of your own interest in this. Realistically, what it was about was your level of interest in him, pleasing him in order to maintain a relationship with him.

“You initially thought you were in a relationship with him, which has obviously taken a more sinister turn.”

The judge said Henderson was “feeding his needs and requirements”.

Klecha, from Blaydon, admitted possessing indecent images of children and two offences of attempting to arrange or facilitate the commission of a child sexual offence.

He has been jailed for two years and four months, with 10 years on the sex offenders register and a lifelong sexual harm prevention order.

Judge Earl told him: “I form the view you were the person who has the direct interest in sexual activity or sexual imagery of children.

“You are the instigator in relation to these matters. You are the person who has led this vulnerably lady down this path, knowing full-well what your own interests were in relation to young children.

“It is you, directly, who has the paedophilic interest.”

The court heard Klecha has never been in trouble before.
