PUNTERS have been going mad for a Scots bakers’ ‘best combo ever’ – a scotch pie topped with black pudding and beans.
Bayne’s announced on Facebook they were bringing back the old favourite in time for Father’s Day.
The gut-busting pie is exactly as it says on the tine – with a slab of black pudding sitting on top of the pie meat, and surrounded by baked beans.
The family firm describe the creation as “on another level of tastiness”, adding it is back for a “limited time only.”
And the calorific treat is available in all of their stores across Scotland.
The full Facebook post read: “You asked for it and we’re bringing it back!
“Firm favourite the Father’s Day Pie is landing in shops from Tuesday this week.
“A Scotch pie topped with black pudding and baked beans – the Father’s Day Pie is on another level of tastiness!
“Back for a limited time only.”
Pie lovers around the country were salivating at the prospect of tucking into the concoction.
