Royal fans have noticed an incredibly sweet similarity between Princess Charlotte and her late grandmother, Princess Diana
She may only be three-years-old, but Princess Charlotte is already one of the most beloved people in the country.
The youngster captures hearts whenever she attends a royal event – from stealing the show at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, to sassing photographers at her brother’s christening.
And she’s constantly being compared to her great-grandmother, The Queen, which is pretty cool.
But royal fans have just spotted something really interesting about Charlotte – and it’s something that links her to her father, Prince William and late grandmother, Princess Diana.
A fan account on Instagram , called Tea Time With the Cambridge’s, shared a throwback photo of the Duke of Cambridge when he was only 10 years old.
Next to this they posted a recent snap of Charlotte taken at the royal wedding on October 12.
And while you expect a child to resemble their parents, the two look so alike it is startling.
But what people couldn’t help notice was that the pair both share a smile that looks incredibly familiar.
Captioning the photo, the user wrote: “Look at this and tell me they don’t look alike (to me).
“Ever since she was little Charlotte has had the ‘Diana Smirk’ which William obviously got from Diana and Charlotte got from her daddy!
“She is definitely daddy’s little look alike and daddy’s little girl!’
The post has already amassed over 18,000 likes and people were quick to share their thoughts on the photos.
One person wrote: “If Diana ever had a mini me it would be Charlotte. Can’t say this often enough.”
Another commented: “Omg that is what I thought when I saw this exactly, beautiful.”
A third said: “Omg this means she will look like lady Di when she is grown up.”
