Kate Middleton was spotted shopping at The Range with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in Norfolk near where the Royal Family spend Christmas
Last year Prince George only asked Father Christmas for one thing – a police car.
His dad the Duke of Cambridge gave his letter to St Nick during an event and melted all of our hearts a little bit.
But this year there is something very different the little royal wants for Christmas, and he picked it out during a bargain shopping trip with his mum.
Kate, George and Charlotte were spotted picking up some last minute essentials in The Range in King’s Lynn, which is just up the road from the Royal Family’s Sandringham Estate where they spend Christmas.
During the trip to the shop, described by its own boss as “a poor man’s John Lewis”, the family were seen browsing the toy aisles and made several purchases.
Fellow shopper Sarah Daniels saw the royal trio and noticed Prince George was eyeing up a pot of dinosaur slime.
The teacher told Daily Mail: “As I was looking at the shelves I noticed a tall dark-haired lady further down the aisle and thought to myself ‘I recognise that face’.
She heard George ask if they were allowed to buy the slime, but Sarah didn’t hear Kate’s reply.
Kate was dressed down in jeans, low-heeled boots and a tweed jacket.
Shoppers also called her refer to her daughter Princess Charlotte as “Poppet”.
The Cambridges will join the Queen and other senior royals, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, for their traditional festive celebrations.
They will open their Christmas presents tonight as a nod to their German heritage, and then have a packed day of food and fun planned tomorrow.
They will also meet members of the public when they go to church in the morning.
