Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle, has said he won’t stop speaking out about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and says he will “probably get louder”
Meghan Markle’s father has threatened to continue speaking out about his daughter and new son-in-law if the couple don’t speak to him soon.
Thomas Markle, 74, has not been in contact with his daughter since her Royal Wedding back in May and has given a number of interviews since.
In his latest outburst, he has said won’t “become a monk in a monastery and take a vow of silence” and has even said he’ll “probably get louder”.
While he admits he’s made mistakes, he believes Prince Harry needs to “man up and get over it”.
Telling the Sun what he would say to Harry, he said: “If I’m the first person who’s insulted you or hurt your feelings, you’ve got a long way to go.
“And I cannot accept that. It feels like arrogance.”
Mr Markle claims he has been quiet for long enough.
He says he’s speaking out to stick up for his family after they’ve received insulting messages on social media.
He claims they’ve done nothing to deserve being silenced by Meghan and Harry.
He said: “I’ll keep talking and I’ll probably get louder.
If they ever want to speak to me, maybe I’ll quieten down a little bit. But in the meantime I’m not going to become a monk in a monastery and take a vow of silence.”
However he believes Meghan is settling into royal life and is glad to see her hugging and reaching out to people she meets at royal events.
