A MANCHESTER United fan is fighting for his life after being stabbed by a taxi driver following last night’s Champions League win over Paris St German.
The 44-year-old was with three other fans when the raging driver took offence to them singing over Utd’s 3-1 dramatic victory in the French capital, Sky News reports.
He had tried to intervene when the driver pulled over and whipped out a “large blade” before threatening a female supporter.
But the driver turned the knife on him and stabbed him the chest – leaving him fighting for his life on the pavement.
The victim was rushed to hospital in France and had emergency surgery to remove blood on his lung, according to reports.
French Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the horror attack.
