KATE Middleton wants to have a fourth child after Meghan Markle’s pregnancy left her feeling broody, it has been reported.
As the world awaits Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal baby, it appears the Royal Family could be expanding again in the near future.
A source has told the Daily Mail that the Duchess of Cambridge, who already had three children with Prince William, wants a fourth baby.
The royal source said: “Catherine would like another baby.
“She loves children and is prepared to put herself through another pregnancy even though they have been complicated by severe morning sickness in the past.”
The report comes just months after Kate admitted to “feeling a little broody” after meeting a royal fan’s baby son during a visit to Northern Ireland.
While cooing over the cute tot, the Duchess joked that William “would be little worried” by the arrival of a fourth child.
Video footage of the moment showed Kate beaming at the baby’s dad, saying: “He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel a broody.”
She also commented on a little girl’s coat during the same visit, saying: “I love your cool coat. Charlotte loves pink.”
The comments sparked a frenzy over Kate wanting another child, having already had Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four and Prince Louis, one.
It had previously been thought that Kate, 37, wanted to have three children – the same as her mum Carole.
But a fourth would see her much the Queen, who had Prince Edward when she was 37.
Kate’s apparent desire for another baby comes despite her suffering badly from morning sickness, known as hyperemesis gravidarum.
It saw her hospitalised while pregnant with Prince George, and also forced her to announce her pregnancies early.
But she appears to have coped much better with her second and third pregnancy, and so might encourage her more to have a fourth child.
