The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a party at Kensington Palace for families and children of personnel from RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham serving in Cyprus.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridgewere today pictured in a playful snowball fight at a special Christmas party for the families of RAF personnel serving in Cyprus.
William and Kate welcomed partners and kids, whose loved ones from RAF Coningsby or RAF Marham are deployed on the Mediterranean island state.
And the cheeky couple were seen in pictures and videos shared on Twitter playing in the fake snow, chatting with youngsters, and helping make crackers.
The family event also featured stalls at which excited children decorated stockings and snow globes, and created Christmas party kits. There was also a photo booth and a postbox so guests could take pictures and send messages to their loved ones in Cyprus. Father Christmas himself also made a surprise appearance.
The Cambridges will fly on Wednesday to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus to meet military personnel – including some whose relatives are invited to the royal Christmas party – families living on the base, wider station personnel and members of the local community.
