I’m A Celebrity 2018: Harry Redknapp for early exit after health concerns grow

Harry, 71, has been in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle for over two and a half weeks and it has been reported his time on the ITV reality show is taking its toll.

The ex-football manager has been seen struggling to eat some of the Australian delicacies, stating his favour for traditional British food instead.

Noel Edmonds, 69, was the first celebrity to be eliminated from the jungle last Friday and he built quite the friendship with Harry during his 10-day stint.

Rita Simons, 41, Sair Khan, 30, and Malique Thompson Dwyer, 20, have also left the jungle in the last few days but could Harry be next.

The Sun reported Harry had lost a lot of weight and the exhaustion is taking its toll on the ex-football manager.

A crew source revealed: “Producers are worried he’s had enough and are closely monitoring his wellbeing.”

However, an ITV spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “We monitor the campmates health and Harry is in great form as viewers saw on last night’s show.”

In last night’s show, Harry took part in the Bush Tucker Trial in which eight stars were won for camp.

Following the success, Harry revealed it was the best meal he had eaten since being in the jungle.

Harry has been a favourite for winning this years series with bookmakers holding him ugh on their odds tables to be crowned King of the Jungle over the last few weeks.

It was revealed at the end of last night’s show, EastEnders actress Rita was the fourth campmate to leave the jungle.

Speaking of her exit with hosts Dec Donnelly, 43, and Holly Willoughby, 37, Rita said: “Yes, I’m so upset! Yes I’m really afraid of heights, and I did the cliffs and abseiled and zip-wired.”

She continued: “I feel like I could have done more challenges, more trials,” but admitted she would not go back.

“Do you know, it was so much harder than I thought it would ever be,” the actress declared.

The actress also revealed she had her own health concerns during her two week stint on the show after she was ruled out of the Bushtucker trial for medical reasons.

“The hunger, I had a very minor mini hypoglycaemic and I had to go to the medical centre,” Rita explained.

After being up against former X Factor star Fleur East, 31, the soap star admitted she would love to see Harry win the show.

“Harry. Harry, Harry, Harry. I love Harry. He’s a legend. Harry’s winning,” Rita told Dec and Holly.

Tonight, yet another celebrity will leave their jungle life behind before Sunday’s grand final.
