It’s the latest tragedy to hit the family just two years after Louis’ mum Johannah, 43, died of leukaemia in December 2016
One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson is ‘distraught’ after the death of his younger sister Félicité.
The 18-year-old social media influencer was found at her London home after suffering a suspected heart attack.
The X Factor judge and his family are said to be ‘devastated’ by the tragedy, which just comes two years after the death of Louis’ beloved mother Johannah Deakin.
Sources close to Louis described Félicité, who was known as ‘Fizzy’ to friends, as “a loveable, caring, bright, passionate, popular and beautiful young lady.”
The teenager is said to have collapsed at her apartment in London’s Earl’s Court on Wednesday lunchtime.
Louis, 27, has now withdrawn from all upcoming performances, including a headline appearance at Comic Relief on Friday night while he grieves with his family.
A source told The Sun: “Louis is obviously distraught at the loss of his sister.
“He has cancelled all promo, which includes his performance on Comic Relief this week.
“It’s just the biggest tragedy and everyone wants to be there for Louis, who is the leader of his family since the loss of his mother and always there for all his siblings.”
According to the paper, another person was with Félicité at the time she suffered a suspected cardiac arrest and called 999.
Despite efforts made by two ambulance crews to resuscitate Félicité with a heart massage, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 12.52pm on Wednesday, March 13 to a residential address in SW5 following reports of a female in cardiac arrest.
“At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. Enquiries continue.”
