Body language expert Judi James wouldn’t have been surprised to see signs of suppressed anger in Meghan Markle – but it was quite the opposite
Meghan Markle is ‘happy to attract maximum attention’ and to show off her growing baby bump, a body language expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is expecting her first child in the spring, was full as smiles as she arrived in Birkenhead during a busy day of engagements.
Meghan and Harry carried out a walkabout in the town at the start of the week, chatting to crowds and smiling for the cameras.
Judi James says she wouldn’t have been surprised if Meghan was showing signs of suppressed anger or anxiety beneath all the polite smiles due to the recent negative press, but said that wasn’t the case at all, reports the Express.
She said: “In her brilliant red coat though Meghan looks more than happy to attract maximum attention and to show off her bump to the fans with her one-handed cupping gesture.
“This is Meghan in quasi-maternal role with Harry, watching him touching the statue while she places one loving but dominant hand on his back and smiles indulgently.
“Some gently protective back-touches and hand-holding from Harry did hint at an on-going but unfussy desire to protect but overall, if anything, it was Meghan in her signature confident, dominant role here of using some steering or protective reassurance tie-sign gestures of ownership on both her husband and her bump.
“If Meghan is suffering any unhappiness behind the scenes it was not on display here.”
During the visit Meghan told one well-wisher that she’s six months pregnant, and it’s been reported this week that nursery preparations are well underway.
A source said she is using toxic-free vegan pain, infused with eucalyptus and rosemary oils, to decorate the room.
She is understood to have hired Vicky Charles, a top design director, to decorate the nursery.
Vicky is behind the design of the trendy Soho Farmhouse where Meghan spent three days on her hen do.
