Danniella Westbrook slams claims she’s back on cocaine on Jeremy Vine Show

The recovering addict responded furiously to followers’ claims she was high on the Channel 5 show

Danniella Westbrook has hit back at claims she’s back on the cocaine after her appearance on The Jeremy Vine Show.

Ex-EastEnders star Danniella was on the Channel 5 chat show yesterday, where she discussed not speaking to her teenage daughter Jodie for three years, and now she’s had panic alarms installed to deter a mysterious stalker.

But she was hit by accusations she was high on coke during her stint on the show, and lashed out with fury.

One troll tweeted her after the show had finished saying: “I didn’t know cocaine gave you empowerment! just saying.”

And Danniella was quick to hit back, telling him: “No it gives you unemployment u [b***end].”

The actress’s friend also came to her defence, telling the troll: “Comments like these are so old and outdated now, and she’s in such a good mindset at the moment that literally all these comments are doing is making her stronger.”

And she thanked him, adding: “Your so right Adam as always you know me well my darling.”

But the troll persisted, asking her to explain why she sells set-up paparazzi pictures of herself in her bikini.

“What exactly is empowering about selling staged photos of you on a beach with your t**s out to the ‘papers?” he asked.

Danniella replied bringing up her awful 48-hour gang rape, which took place in the 1990s by members of a drug gang.

“I don’t know but I’m kit talking about that I’m actually talking about people who have abused and bullied me people like yourself in fact and how I’ve let situations like these and child abuse and rape make me stronger and not a victim of abuse.

“Enjoy your evening be blessed,” she added.

Danniella has been open about her drug addiction in the past, recently admitting she relapsed with a coke binge last summer after finding out she had womb cancer.

“Human beings make mistakes. i have a tendency being an addict 2run back 2 what I know in times of struggle&hardship. It’s insane but it’s addiction,” she wrote in a searingly honest tweet in August 2018.

“I hate it & I hate myself after but tbh it’s a illness that twists ur soul. But it’s 1 I battle and won’t let get the better of me.

“I have had bad news of late about my health and i did what I always do and buried my head for a few weeks in Spain.. made some bad choices because the news has rocked me,” she added.
