A FRANTIC search is underway for a missing schoolgirl Charli Love who vanished

A FRANTIC search is underway for a missing schoolgirl who vanished from Paisley.

Charli Love, 15, was last spotted at around 5pm on Wednesday in Love Street.

The youngster is described as white, around 5ft 6in in height and of slim build.

She has long fair hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion.

When she was last seen she was wearing a khaki North Face hoodie with black writing across the front, Nike Airmax trainers, a khaki jacket and a pink rain coat.

She is known to frequent Paisley, Greenock, Largs, Irvine, Kilwinning and Ardrossan.

Charli has previously been reported missing before but turned up safe and well in Renfrew earlier this year.

Sergeant Christopher Daly, Paisley Police Office, said: “Although Charli has been missing on a number of occasions before, she is only 15 years of age and we need to know that she is safe and well.

“As the days pass, her family and friends are growingly increasingly concerned for her.

“We would urge anyone who knows of her whereabouts to come forward, we would also ask Charli herself to get in contact and let us know you are okay.

“Extensive police enquiries are ongoing to trace her and officers have been carrying out searches to find Charli, but have so far been unsuccessful. I would ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 1830 of Tuesday October 16.”
