People are being advised to keep their doors and windows closed as smoke and flames billow from a warehouse in north London.
About 100 firefighters are tackling the blaze on Garman Road in Tottenham.
London Fire Brigade was called just after midnight and sent 15 fire engines to the scene.
The fire has spread through the whole of the single-storey building.
Pictures posted on the brigade’s Twitter feed show fierce flames and a huge column of black smoke rising into the early morning sky.
“Firefighters are working hard to bring the blaze on the industrial estate under control,” said Station manager Mike Cotton, who is at the scene.
“The fire is not affecting any residential properties.”
